SSBICom is now FSBICom
The SinoSwiss Business Incubation Competition (SSBICom) is now called Fenshare Business Innovation Competition (FSBICom). The main reason behind this rebranding is the growth and success of the competition. Today our team is constantly on the lookout for the most innovative startups and SMEs not only in China («Sino») and Switzerland («Swiss»), but throughout Asia and Europe.
By including "Fenshare" in the name of the competition, we want to tell participants that they will benefit not only from the support and valuable connections of SinoSwiss Technoparks and Innovation Centres, but also from the entire "Fenshare family" with its dozens of subsidiaries, its excellent network and reputation, and its strong capabilities and many years of experience in sales and manufacturing. Nevertheless, the competition remains one of the pillars of SinoSwiss and its long-term strategy.
We decided to opt for the term "business innovation" instead of "business incubation" to reflect that the competition does not only target startups and early-stage companies, but also mature SMEs.
In short: The rebranding shall more accurately reflect what we have been achieving with this program since 2018: boosting companies' footprint in the East and the West.
